If you have never attended, this year is your chance to get involved! VIZBI is held annually, alternating locations between Europe and the USA, and this year EMBL Heidelberg will be hosting the 13th edition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The EMBO Workshop: Visualizing Biological Data (VIZBI 2023) takes place 28 \u2013 31 March in EMBL Heidelberg, Germany. It features three keynote speakers as well as plenary talks from 18 leading researchers using visualisation to explore life science data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Present your work<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Submit a poster<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regardless if you are joining virtually or if you are on site, everyone is encouraged to present a scientific poster and a 60-second lightning talk describing your work on biological data visualisation. This is a great opportunity to showcase your work to all the workshop attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Design an artwork<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Create a biologically-inspired artwork to present at the Art &amp; Biology event. This piece of art should be visually compelling and original in communicating biological insight. Participate to win the best Art &amp; Biology award!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Make it interactive with Schol-AR&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>VIZBI 2023 has a partnership with Schol-AR so you can present an augmented poster or artwork with interactive content! It\u2019s time to get creative with videos, image stacks, 3D modules, or volumetric data.
