Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station) is located close to the city centre. It is well connected to the majority of European countries either by express or regional trains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public transport<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To get to EMBL from downtown Heidelberg, you may either take the bus 28 direction Mombertplatz with a stop at EMBL, or the bus 39 direction K\u00f6nigstuhl with a stop at MPI Kernphysik and then walk for about 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For exact times and routes, check the Deutsche Bahn website<\/a> or the Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr website<\/a> (mostly in German).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note that on Sundays and public holidays, bus services are limited. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taxis are available from outside Heidelberg main train station or can be ordered under 06221 302030<\/strong>. The journey to EMBL from the train station\/city centre costs between around \u20ac20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
