EMBL has been training scientists throughout its history, with the first officially recorded practical course dating back to 1977. Courses and conferences have always played a pivotal role, and the programme has continually grown over the last 40 years, today welcoming approximately 7300 attendees annually at all the EMBL sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Read more about 40 years of training below.
