Renders extracted from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rcsb.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RCSB Protein Data Bank (PDB)<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After some deliberation,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rcsb.org\/structure\/6TV0\"> PDB entry 6TV0<\/a>, Serratia spp. Cynase hydratase, released in January of 2021 by EMBL researchers,&nbsp; was selected as our feature protein. This protein is important because it converts cynate (a toxic ion) into carbon dioxide and ammonia (harmless chemicals that can easily be removed from the body).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Playing with style<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"vf-figure wp-block-image size-full is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"314\" class=\"vf-figure__image\" src=\"https:\/\/www.embl.org\/about\/info\/communications\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Fig3.jpg\" alt=\"Render Styles\" class=\"wp-image-7798\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.embl.org\/about\/info\/communications\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Fig3.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.embl.org\/about\/info\/communications\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Fig3-300x94.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.embl.org\/about\/info\/communications\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Fig3-768x241.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><figcaption class=\"vf-figure__caption\">Protein render styles<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Choosing style and colors was the next step of the process.
