EMBL\u2019s Planetary Biology transversal theme, TREC presented diverse opportunities to collaborate with long-time partners and build relationships with new ones as researchers traversed Europe\u2019s coastlines for the field sampling phase of the project.<\/p>\n              <\/div>\n      \n\n<article class=\"vf-card vf-card--brand vf-card--bordered vf-u-margin__bottom--800\" class=\"vf-card__text\">After a brief winter break, TREC started its next phase in late February, resuming the extensive sampling, analysis, and public outreach it began in 2023, with sampling stops
