Following the success of the first two Heidelberg Rhine Neckar alumni “Stammtisch” meetings in October and December 2013, the EMBL Alumni Relations Office started 2014 with plans for a series of such meetings to be held at the Heidelberg Urban Kitchen thanks to the encouragement and sponsorship of local training company Course Resource<\/a>, co-founded by EMBL alumnus Ciaran Behan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first of these meetings took place on 19th February 2014 with complimentary finger food and a Whisky Tasting side event, courtesy of Course Resource. Over 30 participants from all walks and generations of EMBL united for a pleasant evening “off”, catching up, making new contacts, and learning a thing or two about whisky from expert and Course Resource co-founder Steve Christopher.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
