EMBL alumni were involved as co-organisers, speakers and participants of an event in Lisbon dedicated to molecular biology in Portugal, at EMBL and by EMBL alumni. We spoke to three alumni about the event and their research.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n \n 2 October 2009, IBMC, Porto <\/a>\n <\/h3>\n

IBMC Director Claudio Sunkel (EMBL Council delegate and EMBC Vice President) opened the first meeting of EMBL alumni in Portugal with an introduction to the IBMC and to EMBL’s role in European science. Also present were IBMC staff, who gathered to find out about the scientific research done at EMBL (Anne-Claude Gavin) and by EMBL alumni.
