Post Doctoral Association |

The EMBL postdoc
association is an informal association of all EMBL
postdoctoral fellows. On behalf of the Association,
the postdoc committee [a group of postdoc volunteers]
helps organise events and activities for postdocs
at EMBL, and mediates interactions with EMBL's faculty
and administration.
The general goals of the EMBL postdoc association are to enrich the postdoc experience at the EMBL as well as enhance postdoc contributions to the Institute.
Specifically, the association is aiming to: |

create a network
of scientific and social interactions among
postdocs across EMBL units |

|
|
facilitate communication
with EMBL faculty and administration |
|
|
|
help provide
information on funding and career development |
|
|
One of the first
events organized by the Committee was the 1st EMBL
postdoc-only retreat. This was a big success and
a step towards a more connected, interactive postdoc
community at EMBL.
If you have any questions regarding being a postdoc
at the EMBL, you can contact the
Committee. The committee will do its best to
answer your questions or direct you to someone that
can. |
