In 2003, EMBL established the European Learning Laboratory for the Life Sciences [ELLS], a permanent facility with the mission of enhancing life sciences education through close interaction between active research scientists, science educators and teachers.
The collection of press releases on these pages describes the activities associated with the practical training programme for teachers and scientists run by ELLS. As well as being integrated into the larger framework of training activities at EMBL, ELLS is reaching a wide audience of teachers via a growing network of collaborative institutions throughout Europe and Eastern European Countries, as illustrated through the diverse Press coverage. |
